A proper alignment can make a bad car good, and a good car excellent. A lot of “performance” shops neglect alignment altogether — the equipment is expensive and a talented suspension and steering technician is hard to find.
Plenty of shops are happy to sell and fit a set of coilovers or lowering springs, then send you to a national tyre chain for the alignment. Those chains gave us the phrase “toe and go”. They may have the equipment, and some even have a technician who understands suspension, but their policies typically limit them to aligning your car to stock specs.
State-Of-The-Art Alignment Equipment.
That is where we are able to shine. We run a state-of-the-art Hunter digital alignment machine, and our alignment technicians have spent the last 15 years specialising in under-car performance.
We will typically only schedule two alignments a day. Most of the vehicles we see have heavily modified suspension that needs time and focus to set up right.
What The Machine Can Do.
- Electronic ride height measurement — lets us set your coilovers to equal levels.
- Electronic corner weighting — balances the car’s weight by adjusting the suspension so each wheel carries its share, or shifts weight where you want it. Easier to handle, and faster lap times.
- Integrated bump steer measurement — moves the car through its suspension travel to see where the numbers go, so we can tell whether you are getting bump steer and fit the right parts to fix it.
- Laser sensors — no need to remove bumpers, as you do on some other machines.
- Special adapters — safe on all wheel types, and they will not leave scratches.
- Flush-mount lift — accommodates even the lowest cars.
Setups For Street Cars & Motorsports.
R/T Tuning is heavily involved in motorsport and has done full suspension and alignment setups for Formula D drift cars, Global Time Attack, Honda Challenge, HPDE, NASA, AER and SCCA, hill climb and drag cars. You name it, we have aligned it.

A basic four-wheel alignment. For vehicles running OEM suspension components, or lowering springs only.
A four-wheel alignment on a lowered car with coilovers, adjustable dampers and adjustable camber/caster arms. Includes ride height and camber adjustment where applicable. Also applies to air suspension.
A lowered car on coilovers with all applicable adjustments, including setting adjustable sway bar end links and corner balancing.
European car alignment — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and the rest.
